Natural Resources and Watershed Management Organization

The first steering committee meeting for the Sixth National Ranger Day Festival were held on June 17, 2022 at NRWO Headquarters. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Bazdar - Deputy head of NRWO in charge of Planning, Management and Resources Improvement and hosted by Extension, Education and Public Participation Bureau. Participants shared their ideas and comments about the next National Ranger Day Festival in the area of proper timing and organization.

Mr. Saeed Tahmasebian Head of the Board – Earth Supporters Association and Executive Secretary of previous events briefed about the 5 festivals that he had organized in cooperation with NRWO.

The call for selection of prominent rangers will be distributed at wide in August and the selection guidelines will be formulated soon. This National Day always coincided the World Ranger Day on  July 31^st but due to late arrangements, steering committee members convened to celebrate the festival in October 2022 and prominent rangers will be awarded at the ceremony.
